Owner and Stylist
Through more than two decades cutting and styling hair, Isabelle has earned a stellar reputation and a devoted clientele. At the age of 15, Isabelle started working at a salon in her hometown of Belfort, France. In 1993, Isabelle was recruited to work in the United States. At Washington salon institutions, she quickly established a reputation as a gifted hair stylist. In 1999 Isabelle had the opportunity to work with Hillary Clinton, then First Lady of the United States. Isabelle has been recognized as transforming the hairstyle of Mrs. Clinton, former Secretary of State and remains a client today. Other clients include Secretary of State John Kerry, ABC News correspondent Claire Shipman, and Jordan’s Queen Rania. In 2010, Women’s Wear Daily dubbed Isabelle “Washington’s leading celebrity stylist.” In summer 2010, Isabelle realized her longtime dream of buying her own shop. She is delighted to welcome both longtime and first-time clients to Isabelle’s Izzy DC Salon.
One of Washington’s most celebrated aestheticians, Catherine Dubois now offers her signature L’eSPAce Catherine services at Isabelle’s Izzy DC Salon. With skills honed through years of experience in Paris and the United States, Catherine helps her clients – including well-known journalists, Cabinet members and senior executives — look and feel their best. Catherine’s manicures and pedicures are known throughout the city. In the capable hands of L’eSPAce Catherine, clients also receive facials, massage, hair removal, lash tinting, make-up and expert beauty advice. Catherine is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
Fara, a young and hair savvy stylist, graduate from Paul Mitchell Hair School, started as a makeup artist but soon found her passion for hair as she worked for various fashion shows and photo shoots. She then began her hair journey as one of the top requested hairstylist at Red Door Spas. She has done work for the Miss. District of Columbia as well as Miss. Maryland beauty pageants. Specializing in all hair types Fara finds that she is able to spread her talents over a wide range of clients. She loves fashion and everything about hair to keep her clients up-to-date and trendy. She uses the motto “Blood, Sweat, and Sheers” as a way to describe her passion and dedication to her craft.
Stylist and colorist
A ccombinaion of expereince and cutting edge skills ranks Larissa Bottger among Washington, DC’s top stylists and colorists. A native of Moscow, Larissa has studied at some of the best schools in the world including Jacques Dessange, Vidal Sasoon Academy and Copenhagen Hair Academy where she was hired as an instructor. She brings an international flair to her work.
Larissa had her own business in Washington for twelve years and counts media professionals, ambassadors, and World Bank employees among her clients.
Her dedication, professionalism, and prodigous talent insprires loyalty in her following, many of whom travel far distances to see her.
Prior to joing the creative at IZZY DC Salon, Larissa was at Jaques Dessange in Chevy Chase for three years. She is thrilled to be at IZZY DC Salon where she will continue provding first rate services to to both current and new clients.
Chloe’ (Clementine), French master hairstylist from Belfort, an expert in beauty with a passion for style and technique, specializes in cuts, color, highlights, and balayage. Chloe’ fostered an interest in hair at an early age. Her interests in fashion and hair technique have influenced her to gain knowledge in the highest level of hairstyling, from the best French hairstylist working for L’oreal Professional. She has worked for a wide range of clientele, including TV personalities, and some of Washington DC’s elite. With only 9 years of experience in the industry, Ms. Croissant has developed a genius yet artistic flair toward her coloring and cutting technique, with much more to come.
Michele Salvadori started his hair career at the age of 14 in Treviso, Italy. He was trained in his family Salon which gave him a great foundation and has kept him humble in all his success. At the age of 19 he moved to London and worked as a stylist Tony and Guy as a top stylist, worked on mastering his craft. The desire to work in fashion pushed him to move to Milan in 1997 where he worked at the Coppola Salon and launched his editorial career. His worked graced the covers of the many magazines, Glamour Marie Claire, Grazia, V, Magazine, Vogue, (Italy, Spain, Germany, Japan, and USA).
Michele decided to move in Paris at age 28, where he started to concentrate his skill in fashion and beauty photography. In doing so, he has collaborated with photographers such as Mauro Balletti Patrick Shaw, Thomas Nutzl Enrique Badulescu Thomas Schenk Paolo Roversi Harri Peccinotti Vincent Peters, and Thierry le Goue’s.
Over the years, he has worked for some of the biggest names in the fashion industry such as Max Mara Versace Giorgio Armani Valentino, Missoni, Givenchy, Balenciaga, and others. In 2005 he located in NYC joined an Artist Agency L’Atelier NYC his worked has been featured in WWD, Vogue, NY Times. Celebrity’s Keira Knightly,Monica Bellucci, Esperansa Splading , Marisa Berenson, Jason Schwartzman, Eva Mendez Rinko Kikuchi Daphne Guinness. Michele’s versatility and artistic skills have him as a leading hair talent in New York City where is making fashion Runway hair a reality for his clients.
Trained extensively in both hair coloring and hair cutting, Aykut approaches his work as an art form. He gained national recognition as a hairstylist in the October 2006 issue of Allure magazine. Through fifteen years of international experience, Aykut has grown even more dedicated to and energized by his craft. His signature looks are dramatic and sexy, and he stays current on hairstyling trends. But he knows following trends is not ideal for everyone, and treats every client to a personalized experience that fits their tastes, look and lifestyle. Aykut’s professionalism and attention to detail have earned him the loyalty of many celebrities — but in Aykut’s vision, every client is a celebrity.
A promising gem in the art of hair cutting, coloring, and styling. Cassidy, a graduate of Graham Webb International Academy for Hair with over 8 years of experience, has gained a number of certifications, awards and recognitions in the industry. Her artistic creations have earned her the opportunity to grow a clientele that expands beyond the DC metropolitan area and into the Hollywood entertainment industry. Cassidy is highly skilled with all hair types and creates modern looks that accentuate each client's features and personality.
Karine was born in Belfort, France and spent four years studying and honing her skills with Isabelle at a hair care academy there. She came to the United States in 1998 and quickly established herself as one of the top professionals in the Washington, D.C., area. Today, Karine’s specialty is a “cut and up-do” style for every occasion. Though she currently lives in Europe, Karine returns monthly to Isabelle’s ‘Izzy Salon’ to serve her valued clientele.
